200 Hour Certified Yoga Teacher Training Program by White Crow Yoga
Our Yoga Teacher Training: 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training Program where you will learn to teach a Multi-Level Hatha Yoga Class, Restorative Yoga, Gentle Yoga (appropriate for all levels, including seniors and those with certain health conditions), Vinyasa Flow, Prenatal and more. We will cover a lot of hands-on assisting/adjusting and anatomy from a yoga standpoint (learning why one person looks different in a pose than another person and whether it needs to be “corrected” or is appropriate for that person’s body). You’ll learn to teach poses that you don’t personally practice, how to modify poses and offer alternatives for all students, how to use yoga class themes to teach the 8 Limbs of Yoga, meditation, chakras, pranayama and much, much more. Join us for our next training. We offer Yoga Teacher Trainings in various cities, including Nashville, TN, In Oklahoma, we offer a Tulsa Yoga Teacher Training.
You’ll deepen your personal yoga practice in a meaningful way that’s difficult to put into words. We spend a lot of time with introspection and personal work, because unless we are truly immersed in our personal yoga practice (not just an asana practice), it will be impossible for us to share yoga with an approach that helps our students live their yoga “off the mat” since we can’t share what we don’t have. While we love asanas and devote a lot of time to pose breakdown, teaching you alignment, cuing and adjusting, we want you to come out of this training with so much more than asana. Some of the greatest yogis in the world have physical limitations that prevent them from doing complex postures, but that doesn’t hinder their yoga practice in any way because they realize there is so much more than asana. We will all age and our physical bodies may decline, but our yoga practice can continue to grow throughout our lives!

Organization of Classes
Weekend sessions: Each weekend session will include a variety of topics interwoven from those above. This makes classes less “compartmentalized,” keeps you from sitting through hours of lecture at a time, continuously reinforces what you have already learned, and allows for activities that appeal to your style of learning. We will incorporate many hands-on activities, view several DVDs, work with & teach to partners, research books & online materials, participate in master classes, and share with each other.
Other Sessions: Modules are offered in some cities, which allows the student to pace their studies over a longer period of time. Classes may be offered on weekends, week days, and evenings. Some cities also offer intensive study sessions ranging from 3-4 weeks.
