Which Assessments To Complete
- Physical
- Observation of movement (through asana, movements) of known limitation
- Looking for strength/ROM deficiencies
- Example: Hip labral tear – watch client move through asanas/exercises to see what level of activity you will recommend
- Postural assessment
- The “Big 5″ Postural Assessment
- Remote students: If you did not receive the videos covering postural assessments, please let me know
- Document for reference only
- This was taught live in class or via video

- Other ROM or Strength Testing
- Subtle Energy Assessments

- We are not dieticians but you can recommend books
- You may give basic education about drinking plenty of water, eating fresh food, limiting processed foods, etc.
- Repetitive habits
- Gaming
- Clothing choice (compression, high heels)
- Hobbies
- Are they repetitive or contributing to pain or dysfunction
- Work and other ergonomics
- Other tools you may be trained in
- Such as Ayurvedic Assessments

When to Assess
- First visit to establish baseline
- About 2-3 months into plan
- Again every 3-6 months
