What is the difference between the “Teacher Training” and “Teacher Certification”?

The Aqua Yoga Teacher Training is meant to offer 15 CECs for AEA and Yoga Alliance certified professionals. The materials consist of a manual, video, and a short quiz.

The Aqua Yoga Teacher Certification also offers 15 CECs for AEA and Yoga Alliance, along with a Certificate of Completion showing you have graduated from this certification course. It contains more in-depth materials. We include an anatomy component and a more in-depth pose breakdown, including common misalignments in each pose and how to correct them. You’ll also receive 10 additional class flows and 25 class themes to help you get started teaching.

Most importantly, the Certification also has an evaluation and feedback component. Those seeking certification must submit a video of themselves “teaching” (teaching to the camera is fine) to pass a practical exam. Without this video component, we wouldn’t be able to evaluate your teaching skills, and therefore would not be able to offer a certification.
