RYT300 Intensive Egoscue
All remote students should do some work with this Lesson. Physical Track students might want to practice each protocol and maybe even teach it to a volunteer. Emotional Track students want to take a look at the material and use it as needed. You may get a client who comes to you with emotional issues, but they may also have chronic muscle contractions and some of these exercises would be beneficial. The amount of work you put into this Lesson depends on which track you are on. There is nothing to turn in.
Please read your Pete Egoscue Pain Free book and practice the exercises outlined in the book or review the PDF below. Ask a volunteer to allow you to teach the exercises to her so you can feel confident when teaching it to a client for the first time.
You do not have to purchase Egoscue equipment. Be creative and think about how you can accomplish the same benefits using items you (or your clients) already own. For example, to perform static back, if you do not own the Egoscue blocks, simply use a chair or couch.
For your convenience, we have listed the Egoscue exercises in a PDF. These are directly from the same book you purchased for this course.
I love e-cises and know from personal experience they help many clients. However, they aren’t for everyone. If you skim through the book and try a few of them and they don’t resonate with you, that’s ok. You have plenty of other resources on how to realign the body.
